The Coalition is not just made up of individuals, but of a large network of nonprofits and charities that support artists and arts workers. There are many ways that your organization can be a part of the 2015 election:
For the duration of the campaign, the Coalition will be hosting monthly teleconferences with arts activists from across the country. If you’re involved in federal election arts initiatives in your riding and would like to get a sense of the information resources available to you, exchange perspectives and learnings with other arts activists and share best practices, we’d welcome you to take part. Register your organization here & get more information. The meetings will be chaired in French and in English. We will do our best to ensure that both languages are represented.
Lead the discussion
Host meetings in your riding with candidates and/or with other arts supporters using our Election Toolkit: organize an arts debate with local candidates, invite candidates at a public event during Culture Days, host a gathering to watch and comment a leaders’ debate with other arts advocates.
